Reference: SY-17
Duration: 5 Day(s)

Objektum's Model-Based Systems Engineering course has been specifically designed to provide practical experience in the application of MBSE using the OMG Systems Modeling Language (SysML) in Magic Draw.

Delivered in the form of a workshop, this course has been designed to provide delegates with ample opportunity to practise the application of MBSE to solve domain specific problems using the tools that they will encounter during their working life.

No Magic's Magic Draw is used to gives delegates hands on experience of modelling complex systems to ensure that knowledge is transferred in a way which will allow them to immediately apply MBSE to their project without the need for additional tool training.

  • An Introduction to MBSE
  • An Introduction to SysML
  • An Introduction to Magic Draw
  • How to organise the model using package diagrams
  • How to capture requirements
  • How to model system context
  • How to model use cases
  • How to write use case scenarios
  • How to model interactions using sequence diagrams
  • How to describe a system state machine
  • How to use activity diagrams to perform functional analysis
  • How to represent system structure using block definition diagram
  • How to capture interfaces using internal block diagrams
  • How to model constraints using parametric diagrams
  • How to model effectively in Magic Draw

Who should attend

Those who are new to modelling and wish to understand how SysML can be used to model the entire system lifecycle.

No previous SysML or toolset experience is required however an understanding of systems engineering is recommended.
