This course is recommended for systems and software engineers responsible for the definition of Eurofighter Typhoon ICD data as well as those who need to read and understand the ICD data.
The EP/T philosophy of single source data definition, across the project lifecycle, would have required major changes to the existing ICD tool. Modifying the legacy tool was seen as unrealistic and it was decided develop a new ICD tool on a supportable platform.
Recommended for systems and software engineers responsible for the definition and development of Eurofighter Typhoon ICD data, this course introduced the ICD toolset philosophy and architecture before teaching the skills necessary to create, delete and modify data items such as messages, signals and transactions within the ICD dataset.
This course is specifically focused on how to maximise the capabilities and features of the EP/T ICD toolset to support the PCMS change process adopted by the Eurofighter Typhoon project. The production of formal ICD reports and the exporting of data to supporting CP/T and EP/T toolsets is also covered.
