Reference: BE-09
Duration: 1 Day(s)

Description

The Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML) are the OMG standards for supporting software and systems engineering. The UML 2.0 specification adds richer notation to the 1.x specification with additions to the existing diagrams and the introduction of new ones. SysML also provides a number of new diagrams, and elements to UML which address the needs of expressing the structure, data and performance characteristics of systems.

This course introduces delegates to the notation and diagrams used to express structural and behavioural views of a system during requirements expression, OO analysis and design, implementation, test and deployment.

The standard notation is covered, with many of the concepts presented as simple analogies and reinforced with short exercises. This course is recommended for those who want to demystify this subject and truly ‘get to grips’ with fundamental concepts.
