Description

The Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) is an OMG ratified standard for the development of platform / language independent distributed object applications.

The course will introduce the basic concepts of distributed object technologies, including the impact that distributed technology will have on the design and complexity of a system.

The course will provide key decision makers with the ability to evaluate the CORBA platform and implementations thereof, with respect to their specific requirements. In addition, while the course is language independent, it can be of value to engineers who will be working in a distributed object environment but do not require a detailed knowledge.
